Smoker's Lungs

Papier-mâché, fishing line, cigarette butts, 1.5' x 1.167' x 1' Transgressional themes are visually apparent in Smoker’s Lungs, a 3D sculpture embellished with hundreds of cigarette butts arranged in a modular fashion. This piece acts as a critique of my own vice, as well as an attempt to reclaim a material that would otherwise be discarded as waste.
